Co-owned by Delius Shirley (Jamaican) and Chef Cindy Hutson, Zest is the newest concept by the restaurant entrepreneurs following the success of their first restaurant, Ortanique on the Mile, a fine dining Caribbean restaurant opened since 1999. Located in downtown Miami’s Southeast Financial Center, Zest serves up an eclectic fusion of different nations featuring Asian, South American, and Caribbean influences with a combination restaurant and market with a grab-and-go concept. On the menu is a diversity of influences from Nuevo Latino and New World Caribbean to Carib-Asian and Pan-Asian.
The Zest MRKT concept is open weekdays for breakfast and lunch and also offers healthy “grab-and-go” gourmet delights, including sandwiches, soups, salads, fresh juices, protein shakes, coffee, and more.
Zest Bar & Lounge is an indoor-outdoor lounge with a drink menu of fresh juices, house-made syrups, craft beer, wine and cocktail pairings, a curated wine list, and Bar Bites from 3pm til close. Weekday happy hour is from 3pm – 8pm with a late night Saturday happy hour from 9pm – 1am.
Zest also has a private dining room for groups of up to 30 guests.
